Debate: Influence of Foreign Direct Investment

The first regional debate regarding the influence of Foreign Direct Investment in Lower Silesia district was attended by almost 100 business people coming from different regions of Poland.
The event was opened on behalf of 8 Chambers of Commerce by Mr. Krzysztof Bramorski – the representative of Lower Silesia Marshall Office, along with the President of SPCC, Carsten Nilson.

The results of the report were presented by Łukasz Lipiński, Director of Analysis Department in Polityka Insight, who discussed the key theses of the reports, mainly including the perspective of Lower Silesia.

The panel debate was joined by representatives of local authorities and representatives of foreign investors in the regions: Ewa Kaucz – Vice President of Araw, Andreas Gietl – Managing Director of BASF Polska, Olivier Constantin – Vice President of Credit Agricole Bank Polska and Senior Country Officer of CA in Poland, Jacek Siwiński – General Manager of VELUX Poland and Rafał Szafraniec – Partner at KPMG. The panel was led by Paweł Panczyj – Managing Director of ABSL.
