Foreign Direct Investment Debate in Kraków

On 8th June the third regional debate regarding the influence of Foreign Direct Investment in Lesser Poland district took place in Kraków and it was attended by over 50 guests representing various business sectors, municipal government, local organisations and media.

The event was organised by 3 Chambers of Commerce; the Netherlands-Polish Chamber of Commerce, the Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce as well as the French-Polish Chamber of Commerce. Bilateral Chambers of Commerce reflect the interests of diversified group of foreign investors present on the Polish market.

The panel debate was attended by representatives of local authorities and representatives of foreign investors in the region:Rafał Kulczycki – Director at the Department of City Development, Marshal Office of Kraków, Robert Maciaszek – Director at the Department of Economic Development – Marshal Office of the Lesser Poland Region,
Tomasz Wachnicki – Director of the Business Line of Healthcare CEE, Board Member at the Air Liquide Polska;
Marek Potoczny – Director of Public Funds and Industrial Projects at Valeo Autosystemy Sp. z o.o.;
Jacek Siwiński – General Manager at VELUX Poland

The results of the report were presented by Adam Czerniak, Chief Economist at Polityka Insight, who discussed the key theses of the reports, this time mainly including the perspective of Lesser Poland.
