NPCC supports incoming e-mobility mission

The Netherlands-Polish Chamber of Commerce was one of the supporting partners during the incoming foreign trade mission on e-mobility this week. Twelve companies from this sector participated in a two-day program to Poland. The mission was organised by the Netherlands Embassy and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO). During the mission, the NPCC offered tailor-made matchmaking meetings for the Dutch companies.

E-mobility is an important subject in Poland. The Polish government has ambitious plans and is now making significant investments in this sector, especially at municipality level. Currently, the most prominent innovation is the expansion of electric buses in cities such as Warsaw.

The Dutch participants offered a diverse portfolio of products, ranging from loading stations, electrical bicycles and electrical city vans. During the mission they were updated by local Polish partners about the rapidly changing Polish e-mobility market. They visited car producer Triggo and the municipal transport company MZA that recently ordered 130 e-buses for Warsaw. During a conference and matchmaking meetings the Dutch participants got in contact with other important players on the market and were able to show their innovative solutions to the Polish partners.

The incoming companies were satisfied with the contacts that they were offered. The NPCC managed to organised more than 70 business meetings for the companies.

One of the participants of the matchmakings, founder Wouter Tijdgat of Ebke e-bikes and scooters:
I would like to thank the NPCC team for organizing the matchmakings in Warsaw. I have gained valuable contacts that will certainly facilitate the market entry of the EBKE e-bikes in Poland. Due to these contacts, I soon will visit Warsaw again, taking one of the bikes for demonstrations.
